01 · Sweeping
The bread and butter. Power-sweep with rotary heads, smoke-tested, certificate emailed before we leave.
Modern rotary equipment from below — no climbing required for most flues. We seal the appliance with dust sheets and run a HEPA-filtered vacuum throughout, so the soot stays where it should: in the bag.
Every sweep ends with a smoke evacuation test to confirm the flue draws cleanly, and a HETAS-recognised certificate of sweeping for your records — accepted by insurers across the UK.

02 · Inspection
High-definition video of every inch of your flue. We see what a sweep alone can't.
A camera on a flexible rod travels the full length of the flue, recording HD footage all the way. We catch cracked liners, displaced bricks, bird nests, tar deposits, and signs of past chimney fires that no exterior check would reveal.
Particularly recommended before purchasing a property, after a flue fire, when commissioning a new appliance, or when insurance requires evidence of condition. You get the footage and a written condition report to keep.

03 · Servicing
Your stove is an engine. Like any engine, it needs a yearly service to run at its best — and safely.
We strip the stove to its components, inspect the firebox, baffles, fire bricks, glass and seals. We replace what's worn, refit what's not, and reassemble everything to manufacturer spec. The difference in efficiency and draw is genuinely felt the first time you light it again.
Recommended annually for stoves in regular use. We service every major UK and European brand: Charnwood, Stovax, Morsø, Clearview, Jøtul, Hwam, Aga, Esse, Dovre, Hunter, and the rest.
Door and glass seals replaced where worn.
Cracked or eroded vermiculite/firebricks replaced.
Inspected, cleaned, replaced if warped.
Glass polished, airwash channels cleared.
Documentation
HETAS-recognised, accepted by all UK home insurers. Issued same day, digital and printed copies.
Written report with HD footage. Suitable for surveyors, conveyancers, and insurance claims.
Itemised record of parts replaced, condition notes, and recommended interval to next service.
